Jessica Mallorie

My work is semi- abstract landscape. I am greatly inspired by the natural world and it’s immense and often poetic beauty. I have begun to focus my attention on environmental damage. Damage to our ecosystem, our polar ice caps, the eradication of our forests, the plundering of the earth and the fear of an approaching equilibrium.

I am concerned by the way in which society has become so driven my material gain in the pursuit of happiness. And in contrast to this want to portrait the immense beauty and power of the natural world.
